Gloucestershire Community Foundation are working with Worcestershire Community Foundation and UK Community Foundations to deliver the Tampon Tax Community Fund for Gloucestershire.

The Tampon Tax Community allocated funds generated from the VAT on sanitary products to projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls. Grants of £5,000 - £10,000 will be awarded to charities and community groups delivering projects that support women and girls to build skills and confidence, improve their health and wellbeing, and build social networks.

This programme aims to fund small-scale interventions (for a duration of up to 12 months), which will make a considerable difference to the lives and happiness of women and girls by raising their aspirations and combating the influences that affect their confidence.

Applications for grants open on Monday 17th September, and close on the 5th November. For more information and to access the online application, please visit the Worcestershire Community Foundation website here
