News INVEST Mentoring Programme for Gloucestershire Charity Leaders in partnership with Cranfield Trust and Honourable Company of Gloucestershire INVEST Mentoring Programme for Gloucestershire Charity Leaders in partnership with Cranfield Trust and The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire An fantastic opportunity to apply for a fully funded mentoring programme for charity leaders with The INVEST Mentoring Programme. Gloucestershire Community Foundation is working with Cranfield Trust and The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire to deliver a new programme of support for Gloucestershire charities and their leaders. Becoming a mentee; our mentoring programme offers charity leaders running important services for our communities a significant development opportunity, and the volunteer mentors will receive training and support from Cranfield Trust. Below is a short and inspiring video of both a mentor and mentee that took part in our pilot scheme last year detailing their experiences. This year we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to 10 charity leaders in Gloucestershire. The programme is 6 months long and the purpose of a Cranfield Trust mentor is to enable charity leaders to fulfil their performance expectations and to benefit their organisations and in doing so their beneficiaries. Mentors offer companionship on a mentee’s journey of discovery, helping them to become the person they aspire to be. They also provide the opportunity for a mentee to think through issues making sure that the mentee does the thinking and learning along the way. Cranfield work hard to match mentor and mentees to make sure that the relationship is beneficial for both. Charities need to fit the following eligibility criteria for this programme Addressing the needs of poverty, disability or social exclusion Formally constituted non-profits with a Board of Trustees or similar based in Gloucestershire Small to medium in size – revenue no more than £1.5M Charities leaders interested in taking part in the programme are asked to fill an initial short application form which can be found here.
