The Freemasons Fund was established with the Foundation in 2010.

Their original investment was matched by the government as part of the Office of the Third Sector's Grassroots Grants endowment building programme for Community Foundations.

Grants of between £250 and £2000 are available.

Groups and organisations in Gloucestershire working to benefit local communities and to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Gloucestershire:

We aim to fund projects working with:

  • older people
  • those with disabilities and
  • young people facing disadvantage.

Deadline for application submissions

There are usually three rounds of panel decisions during the year. The closing dates for applications during 2017 are:

Wednesday 15th March 2017 (decision notification late March 2017)

Wednesday 21st June 2017 (decision notification late July 2017) 

Wednesday 20 September 2017 (decision notification late October 2017) 

*Applications to be submitted by 12pm.
